Project Description

The International Training Institute (ITI) is the educational branch of the unionized sheet metal industry. The ITI supports advanced career training for SMART members at more than 148 local training centers throughout the United States and Canada. One of the organization’s primary recruiting tactics is to exhibit at trade shows geared toward prospective students and their parents, school boards and counselors, sheet metal contractors and union business agents.

Imagine Communications designs banners, table top displays, popup stands and other display materials and handouts to communicate the benefits of a union sheet metal apprenticeship. This is done through compelling verbiage customized for each audience, as well as attractive images depicting specific diverse groups (veterans, women, minorities, high school and junior college graduates, etc.) in action shots across disciplines such as welding; commercial and residential service; architectural sheet metal; fire life safety; and building information modeling. Copy and graphics work together to convey the overall theme that unionized sheet metal training is another form of higher education and that students graduate with no tuition debt, a tremendous advantage in today’s world.
