Last month, Amanda Farrar joined the Imagine family as a member of the client services team. Get to know her in the Q & A below and say “hi” in the comments!

How did you come to work at Imagine?
I had brunch one day with my friend Cynthia, Imagine’s art director. I was telling her how much I enjoyed working in client relations and as an agent for artist/designers, and how I planned to continue work in that arena. Cynthia told the owners of Imagine about me, and they agreed my background in graphic design and copywriting could make me an ideal fit. Through two interviews, I really loved what I learned about Imagine’s culture and clients from Brian and Alex, and I made sure they knew it. A few weeks later, I was thrilled when Brian invited me to come in and meet the crew for a third and final group interview. I then started freelancing for Imagine, and I was officially brought on board a few months later.
What type of projects will you be working on?
I’ll work on newsletters, marketing proposals, and ghostwriting books. In addition, I will focus on Imagine’s internal marketing.
What is your favorite type of food?
Thai food! Yellow curry and fresh spring rolls get me very excited.
Where is your favorite spot to travel to?
Santa Barbara and Sedona are each high up on my list of nearby getaways. I frequently travel to Dallas where I enjoy visiting family.
