Welcome, Claire!

We are excited to introduce you to Claire Wentzel, our newest public relations associate, who will be working with us while Director of PR Melissa Biernacinski is on maternity leave. Get to know her in the following Q&A and say hi in the comments.

How did you come to Imagine?
I moved to Las Vegas from Portugal last summer. I met Imagine client Brittany Bleak of LGA at an SMPS meeting in the fall and she decided to give me a professional life here in the valley by connecting me first to a marketing position at Nevada State College and now to Imagine!

What type of projects will you be working on?
Keeping Tiffannie alive and flourishing during Melissa’s maternity leave.

What is your favorite type of food?
Having lived and traveled overseas the past 10 years, this and the following question are difficult for me to answer. I love fresh, authentic food from around the world and give bonus points for artistic presentation. I am continually eager to try new dishes. Here are a few foods that I can pretty much never get enough of:

Sapporo-style butter-corn miso ramen
Portuguese grilled seabass (robalo)
Thai Tom Ka Gai soup
Fromager d’Affinois
Anything combining dark chocolate and raspberry

Where is your favorite spot to travel to?
I’ve been a lot of places; here are the ones that start with “s” that I would absolutely go back to:

San Antonio, Texas
São Pedro do Moel, Portugal
Seattle, Washington
Sevilla, Spain

However, if I never have to drive through Houston again, I’ll die a happy woman. J

What are some of your hobbies?
Organizing sock drawers
Wine and food pairing
Roller derby
Getting my hair washed and styled
Watching my 3-year-old and 8-month-old create with paint and pens
