Welcome, Ginger!

Ginger Meurer joined the Imagine team earlier this month as a public relations coordinator and already got to take a picture with a tin man while on assignment. Get to know Ginger in the Q & A below and say hello in the comments!

What is your official title/role with Imagine?
Public Relations Coordinator

What is your hometown?
I was born in Johnson City, Tennessee, but grew up in Clinton, Utah. I’ve been in Las Vegas around 20 years.

How did you come to work at Imagine?
I’ve worked with Imagine for years on the receiving end of press releases as a newspaper reporter and editor and always had a tremendous amount of respect for the staff and partners and the boutique agency attention they give to clients. With my youngest in school full-time, I put out a social media post suggesting I might be ready to plunge back into the journalism world. I am so honored my colleagues at Imagine jumped at the opportunity to bring me on.

What type of projects will you be working on?
So far, I have been working on press releases and media advisories for a number of Imagine’s clients. The highlight was a trip to Boston to provide photography and public relations services at a sheet metal apprentice competition. There’s nothing like starting a job off capturing sparks.

What is your favorite type of food?
I love sushi, and I can’t get enough Greek, Indian and Mediterranean foods.

Where is your favorite spot to travel to?
I’m up for adventure anywhere. I love visiting big cities like New York, Boston, Salt Lake and Los Angeles. But I also loved walking the rainforests and kayaking through a bioluminescent bay in Puerto Rico and hiking through the rivers in Zion.
